Once an animal leaves our facility and has been in somebody elses care and around there animals it no longer has ANY RESALE VALUE to us because we could not re list it for sale and be able to offer the same guarantees we do on the animals that have been in our care and in our facility their entire life. Due to our strict quarantine process on any new coming animals into our collection we ARE NOT able to offer refunds or exchanges unless noted in one of our guarantees below. Shipping us an animal on your own free will knowing we do not offer refunds or exchanges DOES NOT constitute giving you a refund but will taken as you forfeiting the animal and the money paid for the animal. SHIPPING
We absolutely WILL NOT ship live animals without speaking to a person. If you make a purchase feel free to shoot us a message with the ID code of the animal you purchased and let us know your zip code and availability so that we can take a look at the weather on your end and find the day/night with the safest temps for transit that fits your schedule. Otherwise, you will be contacted after you have made a purchase for us to work out a safe shipping day that fits your schedule. Somebody will have to be present to receive animals if they are shipped to your house/work. We can sometimes ship the same day but the closest main hub to us is about a 3 hour drive so if it is possible for us to ship that day we would need to have shipping worked out by about 9:30 am EST to get the pickup called in with fedex on time to swing by our facility in the afternoon to get your package or arrange to make the long drive to the hub our self. As well as check the weather that there are no storms or unsafe temps on our end, your end, or at the 2 main sorting hubs for out of state packages.
Shipping is always done via Fedex Overnight. It is much preferred to ship out Mon for Tues delivery, Tues for Wed delivery, or Wed for Thurs delivery. If absolutely Fri is the only day you are able to receive we can do Thurs for Fri delivery but pickup at the hub is much preferred because if there is a delay the animal may still be able to be picked up at the hub sat BUT fedex overnight DOES NOT run at normal capacity on Sat or Sun. Therefore delivery Sat or Sun is not available Shipping on Thurs for Fri for hub pickup is on case by case basis depending on the weather and location so if you can only receive on a Fri please contact us to make sure it is possible before making your order.
So what do you do if you work Mon-Fri but are not able to ship animals to your work? Well it is very simple luckily!! Fedex offers for packages to be held at your main local hub and will keep them safe in a climate controlled office waiting for you to pick up at your convenience. Many customers have us use this option so they can pick their animals up either on lunch break or on their way home from work. Hours are different at every location but many are open until as late as 8-9pm. We will gladly look up your main hub before making a purchase so do not hesitate to send us your zip to find a Main Fedex Hub near you!!
Having animals held at the hub also allows us to ship in much more extreme temps, either hot or cold, because we are skipping the long truck ride exposed to the elements when animals are shipped to your door. This makes it possible to safely send you animals in weather that would normally be considered unsafe to ship when doing so to your door. If you arrange to have an animal held at your local hub for pickup and then refuse to pick the animal up and it has to be paid for to be shipped back there is absolutely NO refund of any kind.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
*I guarantee that all animals will arrive alive and healthy AS LONG AS animals being held at a hub are picked up promptly, within 6 hours of the hub opening for business, and animals shipped to your door are signed for and received on the FIRST delivery attempt and on time. ANY issues MUST be reported within the first 30minutes after arrival or the buyer assumes liability for the animal once it is under their care. We are beyond a shadow of a doubt certain every animal that leaves is in perfect condition and can not be liable for an animal once it is in a customers care as there is no telling if they will keep the animal in proper husbandry. It is the buyers responsibility to report any issues IMMEDIATELY. If for some unfortunate reason you receive a dead on arrival animal it is your responsibility to contact us IMMEDIATELY. It is your responsibility to provide us with photographic proof the animal is dead IMMEDIATELY. If you need time to get a camera or charge your phone to take a picture etc. Please contact us within 30min after arrival to let us know of the d.o.a. so that your live arrival guarantee is not void. In the event of a d.o.a. if an acceptable replacement is not available a full refund will be issued including the shipping.
TO YOUR DOOR SHIPMENTS- ***ATTENTION**** Due to Covid19 restrictions causing an increase in people shopping online and overwhelming fedex to the point they can not guarantee delivery times we can no longer be responsible for carrier delays for to your door shipments. Live arrival guarantee is void if fedex does not delivery your package on time. HOWEVER, we strongly recommend holding your animal at your local main Fedex Ship Center to be picked up during their business hours. We WILL be responsible for carrier delays if you have your animal held at the hub meaning if you do hub pickup and have a doa we will honer our live arrival guarantee regardless of how late fedex is getting it to your hub. PLEASE utilize hub pickup to ensure safe travels for your animal while fedex is so overwhelmed*** (It is the buyers responsibility to be present to receive the package or designate somebody to be present to receive the package once a shipping date has been agreed upon. I do not guarantee live arrival on shipments to your door when nobody is present to receive the animals. Live arrival guarantee is void if we are not contacted about an issue within 30 minutes of fedex tracking showing the animal was delivered. This ensures that somebody is present to receive the animals. Live arrival guarantee is void on shipments not signed for and received on the first delivery attempt. Overnight Lows must be above 45 for delivery to your door. Daytime highs must be under 90 for delivery to your door. We absolutely will not ship to your door in unsafe temps without live arrival guarantee so please do not suggest shipping anyways without the live arrival guarantee as the safety of the animals always comes first and we will always do what we think is in the best interest of the animals. If your temps are not in the safe range do not worry because we can ship in extreme temps safely and with live arrival guarantee if the animals are held at the hub for you to pick up at your convenience! TO YOUR LOCAL HUB SHIPMENTS- It is the buyers responsibility to pick up the package at the hub promptly, within 4 hours of the hub opening for business the day of arrival or live arrival guarantee is void. Packages held at hubs are usually available for pickup around 8-9am and will be waiting in a climate controlled office for you to pick up at your convenience. If you plan on picking your animals up after work or in the afternoon PLEASE let us know so that we can pack accordingly. In the middle of winter we use heat packs and will likely opt for a bigger box or less heat packs if we are packing an animal to stay warm overnight but will end up sitting at the hub all day for you to get off work. Hub Pickup is an awesome option because instead of being on the back of a truck riding around all day for home delivery exposed to the elements your animals will just sit back at the main hub in a climate controlled office waiting for you to pick up at your convenience. We can safely ship to the hub with live arrival guarantee in times of extreme cold or extreme heat that would likely be to high or low to even consider home delivery. Do not hesitate to contact us about finding a local main hub near you as well as checking your weather and confirming with you that we can ship safely in your temps if you are concerned about us shipping to you safely. The safety of the animal always comes first and we have no problems at all feeding/housing your purchase for an extra week if we have to wait for a safe shipping day to avoid storms or extreme temps.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
We do send animals to many customers outside of the US, However, We only ship to customers outside of the US that have arranged for a broker IN the US to handle the export process. You must have a broker with a location in the US for us to ship the animals to. American Made Exotics ONLY handles shipping animals inside the US. The same live arrival and health guarantees above apply only to us shipping the order to your broker ONLY. Many times these animals remain in their possession for a few days or weeks and we can not be held responsible for how they pack or what other animals they are exposed to while being held or repackaged. Live arrival guarantee is for arrival in the US at the broker ONLY. Beyond that the broker is responsible for any claims or issues, including but not limited to death, injury, or illness. YOU are hiring a third party broker to be responsible for getting the animal from us to you and any issues beyond us getting the animal to your broker in the US is not our responsibility. Your broker is responsible for all paperwork and correspondence will between YOU and YOUR BROKER, we did not hire the broker and are not their customer YOU are. We will hold animals for 90 days for free while your broker arranges for paperwork. After that we will require $50 per animal for the 4th, 5th, and 6th month we are waiting to ship your animals out. If your broker does not allow us to ship in 6 months of less we require $100 per month for every animal we are boarding for you. If in 1 year (12 months) your broker does not arrange shipping, all money is forfeit and the animal will be relisted for sale. PLEASE make sure any broker you hire is familiar with the process of importing/exporting ball pythons so they can get animals shipped to them in a timely manner. We never want to see a customer loose their money but we are not a boarding facility and can not hold animals indefinitely.
PROPERLY SEXED GUARANTEE
I guarantee that any animal sold as a male or female has been properly sexed. In the event you receive an animal that has been incorrectly sexed we will be glad to provide a shipping label to return the animal. Upon arriving alive and healthy back at our facility and being proven incorrectly sexed a replacement animal will be sent at our cost. If an acceptable replacement is not available then a full refund shall be issued.
Genetics Policy
Recessive Genetics are always 100% Guaranteed but as we stack codom genes it can be tricky sometimes to identify what genes are present in every animal. We always try our best to honestly id codom traits and usually err on the side of caution if we are in doubt and label it as "possible" or "probable" but we are only human so mistakes can happen so we can not 100% Guarantee Codom/Dom Traits. Clutch records are on the website for every baby we sell so please feel free to check the pairing to be sure you agree with our ID if you are banking on a particular gene being present or not present in an animal we have listed.
PAYMENT PLANS
Payment Plans are available on animals $500 and up. We require 25% down and the balance paid in 30days or less if total price is under $1000 and 60 days or less if total price is over $1000. Payments are non refundable and non transferable so PLEASE be sure you are able to follow through with the payment plan before putting money down to start one. All Sales Are Final
Payment plans are always on a case by case basis so do not hesitate to let us know what you would need from us for a payment plan to work for you. We are ALWAYS willing to work with people within reason. It is always much more preferred when a customer keeps in contact and makes frequent payments no matter how small just to show us that the payment plan is a priority and the customer is doing what they can to finish the payment plan in a timely manner. We will virtually never have a problem wiggling just a little on our terms as far as time frame goes if something comes up on the customers end as long they have been keeping in contact and making payments vs the people that make a deposit and vanish until the week before the payment plan is due to end.
Animals purchased with a payment plan will be shipped once the balance has been paid in full.
Failure to fulfill the predetermined payment schedule decided when the payment plan is started will result in a loss of the money spent as payments towards the animals held. No cash refunds will be given under any circumstances. Payments made are non transferable to other animals. This is absolutely never our goal so keep in mind if you do enter a payment plan that it goes a very long way with us when a customer keeps in contact and makes frequent payments with every paycheck no matter how small. It shows us paying off the animals is important to you and we are much more understanding if something comes up. We have no problem trying to help those that are helping themselves. If you make a deposit and we never hear from you again for 2 months though we are a little less understanding when more time is requested. This should not be an issue at all with anybody that responsibly thinks if they should enter a payment plan agreement before contacting us.
Any variation of the set payment plan schedule is on a case by case situation so don't hesitate to Contact Us if you have any questions or would like to further discuss your payment plan options. We can not stress enough how willing we are to work with people within reason so do not be scared to let us know how much you can put down, how often you get paid and can send money towards your snakes, and what time frame you have in mind.
TRADES
Sometimes trades or partial trades will be considered. Do not hesitate to make a trade offer. The worst I can say is no or make a counter offer. In the event a trade is agreed upon it is the buyers responsibility to ship the animals first. Upon their safe arrival and inspection that the animals are healthy and as described, I will then ship the animals that the buyer was trading for. It is not expected to for us to ship animals before receiving cash and I am not willing to take the risk just because it is a trade instead of cash deal.
Refusal To Ship
I wouldn't have ever thought I needed to have a clause like this in my terms of service but surprisingly the need arose to put a paragraph in our terms about refusing to allow us to ship. We can not hold orders indefinitely. If we agree to hold an order until a certain date and that date comes and the weather is perfect for safe shipping we can not continue to hold the order simply because you refuse to give us a shipping address or confirm a date. This includes both domestic and export orders. Export orders we will hold an animal for 90 days for free and after that we require $100 per month, per animal, to board them while you wait for your broker to arrange for shipment. Please do not take this wrong because we are ALWAYS willing to work with customers within reason and many times we hold orders to allow customers to purchase snake racks, return from a vacation, wait until they have a day off work to receive, or get cities paper work in order. Unfortunately this clause had to be added for customers that think they can purchase a baby and us raise it to an adult many months later and still they refuse to be available to receive the shipment or provide a shipping address. If we hold an animal until an agreed ship date and you refuse the shipment then the order is forfeit and all moneys paid will be forfeit with no refunds or credits. If you hire a broker to arrange importing and animal for you the maximum we will hold an animal is 1 year. After that money is forfeit and the animal will be relisted. Again, I hate I even have to say something like this in my terms of service because we are so willing to bend over backwards to work with our customers but some people will take advantage of a situation without strict guidelines and at the end of the day we are not a boarding facility we are in the business of selling and shipping animals out.
